I get the repair prompt for the tool and it says 0% repaired, but when I activate the tool, nothing happens. Do I need to bring along 18-24 fully charged power cells to get down to the lost river and back? Can my Cyclops get destroyed and leave all my stuff scattered in the depths of the lost river? By the time I made it back to my base at LP12 the second set of 6 power cells was near dead again.Īlso, I took a ton of damage trying to get into the lost river, some fires broke out, but between the fire suppression mod and manual extinguishers, I was able to put them out. I did fabricate a power cell charger, but I'd think that would sap the power pretty quickly too. does that burn through power faster? I'm glad I thought to stock 6 fully charged spare power cells, but it seems excessive to have to change them out every few minutes.

Is that supposed to happen so fast? Am I doing something that's burning through them that quickly? I have the energy efficiency mod for the Cyclops engine active, but I was using the sonar because it was hard to see, and I did peep a Leviathan so I started running silently.

it's less than 700m away, but just getting there ate up all 6 power cells. I have a main base near Lifepod 12 and just north there is an entrance to the lost river. I wanted to try heading to the lost river because I'm finally at that part of the game. I was so excited to have a basic mobile base that I could cruise around with and launch my sea moth from.

The exploration, the terror, the figuring things out the hard way. I haven't been in any rush, and like many here, I have fallen in love with this game. I'm about mid-game in my first playthrough.
